Official National Weather Service forecasts for Los Angeles on September 9 point to a sunny high near 92°F with light west-southwest winds, reflecting the seasonal decline in marine layer depth that typically allows greater daytime warming along the coast. Recent subsidence and offshore flow patterns have supported highs in the low to mid-90s over the prior week, while model consensus and observational data show limited spread around these values. Trader-implied odds clustered near 92–95°F versus 96°F+ highlight uncertainty in afternoon sea breeze strength, urban heat island effects at official stations, and any late-day clearing of residual low clouds. No major forecast revisions have emerged in the last 24 hours.
