Recent National Weather Service and commercial forecasts for Dallas on September 10 project a high near 100°F under mostly sunny skies with a 20-30% chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms, driven by southerly flow and elevated dew points supporting heat indices above 105°F. This aligns with an ongoing warm spell that has delivered consecutive days in the upper 90s to low 100s, well above the 1991-2020 average high of 91°F for the date. Model consensus emphasizes limited cooling ahead of any frontal passage, keeping the most likely range near 98-101°F and explaining the market's heaviest weighting on those bins. Updated guidance from the Dallas/Fort Worth NWS office and ensemble runs will provide the next key inputs before resolution.
