Recent forecasts from the Meteorological Service Singapore and global models point to a peak temperature near 32°C on September 10 as the dominant outcome, driven by prevailing southwest monsoon conditions that favor dry, stable air with light southeasterly winds and limited cloud cover. Persistent dry weather across the region has kept daytime heating efficient, with recent days recording maxima of 30–31°C and official outlooks projecting 33–35°C on many September days. Any isolated afternoon showers could cap the high slightly below model peaks, while clearer skies or reduced haze would support the upper end of the range. Updated short-range guidance expected from MSS in the next 24 hours will likely refine the precise maximum and influence trader positioning.
