**KB Home (KBH) is scheduled to report Q3 2026 results after the market close on September 22, with consensus estimates calling for EPS of roughly $0.88–$0.89 and revenue near $1.29–$1.30 billion—both down sharply year-over-year (EPS -45%, revenue -20%).** This follows a mixed Q2 where the company missed EPS expectations by a small margin while beating revenue slightly amid a 27% revenue decline, lower deliveries, and compressed gross margins. Analysts have trimmed Q3 EPS forecasts modestly over the past month, reflecting softer spring selling, elevated incentives, and housing gross margins expected in the 16.0–16.6% range per company guidance. Broader pressures on the homebuilding sector—including affordability constraints and higher input costs—support the 64.5% market-implied probability that KBH will not beat quarterly earnings, as these factors have weighed on recent results and forward estimates despite sequential improvements in backlog mix from the built-to-order strategy. The report arrives amid ongoing volatility in housing data and interest-rate sentiment.
