Recent opinion polls for the September 20, 2026 Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Landtag election show Bündnis 90/Die Grünen consistently edging BSW, typically at 5% versus 4% in August and July surveys from INSA and Infratest dimap. Both parties remain near the 5% threshold required for parliamentary representation amid stronger support for AfD, SPD, and Die Linke. This positioning reflects eastern German voter patterns favoring larger blocs, with limited recent campaign momentum or coalition signals altering the narrow gap between the two smaller parties. Trader consensus at 64% for Grüne aligns with these stable polling trends ahead of the vote.
