Dune: Part Three leads trader sentiment at 59% implied probability thanks to the franchise's consecutive Best Visual Effects wins and Denis Villeneuve's proven command of large-scale world-building. With numerous films clustered near 50% and others like Project Hail Mary at 18.5%, The Odyssey at 6.5%, and Avengers: Doomsday at 5.4%, the market reflects high uncertainty ahead of most 2026 releases. Key differentiators include directors' VFX track records, expected effects scope in IMAX and practical-digital hybrids, and historical Academy patterns favoring ambitious spectacles. Late-year premieres, trailers, and guild buzz will likely shift consensus before nominations.
