Revenue rose 20% year-over-year to $200.6 billion, beating estimates, while AWS grew 37%—its fastest pace in 18 quarters—on robust AI demand, lifting adjusted EPS to $1.97 versus $1.82 consensus. The results prompted a sharp initial rally, yet profit-taking and broader tech rotation have since pressured prices within the 52-week range of $196–$287.20. Elevated capital spending on AI infrastructure remains a key valuation driver, with traders monitoring upcoming macroeconomic data releases and any shifts in risk appetite for further near-term moves in AMZN.
