In the Zagreb Challenger quarterfinal on outdoor clay, fifth seed Zsombor Piros holds a 2-0 head-to-head edge over Lukas Neumayer, including a straight-sets Davis Cup clay win last September, bolstering trader consensus toward the Hungarian ranked No. 163. Both players advanced with straight-sets triumphs in earlier rounds—Piros over Josip Šimundža and Neumayer against Diego Dedura-Palomero—showing sharp form without dropping sets for the Austrian (No. 191). Piros boasts a superior career clay record (66.6% wins), though Neumayer thrives on the surface too (60.8% at Challenger/ITF level). No injuries reported; a tight matchup looms with serve holds and baseline rallies key on the slower Zagreb courts.
