Recent forecasts for Panama City, Panama, point to a daily minimum near 24–25°C on September 5 amid the rainy season, when persistent cloud cover, high humidity, and scattered showers limit nighttime radiative cooling and keep overnight lows close to the long-term September average of 24°C. The spread in market-implied odds, with 20°C or below leading at 39.5% yet 25–26°C outcomes collectively favored, reflects trader uncertainty over how much additional cooling could occur from localized rain or brief clear-sky windows versus the typical insulating effect of tropical moisture. Resolution hinges on the official recorded low, which official monitoring typically captures in the pre-dawn hours.
