Rockstar Games’ official June 2026 pricing announcement set the GTA 6 standard edition at $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition at $99.99, immediately anchoring trader sentiment behind a decisive “No” outcome. This $10 bump above the prior $70 AAA benchmark still falls well short of a $100 base price, aligning with industry trends seen in titles like Mario Kart World while preserving broad accessibility for the franchise’s massive audience. Pre-order windows opening in late June further locked in the structure, with no subsequent statements from Take-Two or Rockstar indicating any base-price adjustment ahead of the November launch. The only realistic upset would require an unprecedented post-announcement hike or a redefinition of “standard edition” that the market has not priced in.
