Official National Weather Service forecasts for Miami on September 16 project a high near 88°F amid mostly sunny skies turning to showers and thunderstorms likely after midday, with easterly winds of 10-14 mph and high humidity supporting heat indices above 100°F. Afternoon convection from tropical moisture typically caps peak temperatures by increasing cloud cover and triggering evaporative cooling, aligning with climatological September averages around 88°F. Recent model runs show limited spread, though any delay in storm development or stronger subsidence could allow readings to reach the low 90s. Trader consensus heavily favors the 88-91°F range, reflecting these stable conditions and the narrow window for exceeding model guidance before resolution.
