Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Miami International Airport indicate overnight lows near 79–81°F under partly to mostly cloudy skies with scattered thunderstorms and dew points in the mid-70s, limiting nocturnal radiative cooling. High atmospheric moisture typical of August in South Florida, combined with light easterly winds and urban heat retention, favors minimum temperatures clustering in the upper 70s rather than dipping lower or spiking higher. Model consensus from NOAA guidance shows modest day-to-day variability driven by convective timing and cloud cover, keeping the 78–79°F bin as the market leader while the near-even split with 80–81°F reflects uncertainty in exact overnight clearing and sea-breeze effects. Traders weigh these factors against historical August climatology averaging 78°F lows.
