Recent National Weather Service guidance and ensemble models point to a San Francisco high near 74–78°F on September 10, shaped by persistent onshore flow and a marine layer that limits inland heat advection despite a broader Bay Area warming episode. The coastal location’s exposure to cooler Pacific air and variable wind patterns create narrow uncertainty bands around the daily maximum, with slight model spread on layer depth and timing of any afternoon clearing. Historical September 10 averages near 70–71°F provide context, while the market’s clustered probabilities around 78–83°F reflect traders weighting the potential for modest exceedances if the marine influence weakens earlier than expected. Refined short-range updates from NOAA will likely tighten these ranges ahead of resolution.
