Recent forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models indicate San Francisco will see mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies on September 6, with highs in the upper 60s to near 70°F under persistent westerly flow and marine influence. This aligns closely with the long-term average high of 70°F for the date, following a cooler early-September pattern marked by a passing low-pressure system and elevated humidity. No heat wave or offshore wind event appears imminent, keeping the risk of temperatures exceeding 75–80°F low based on current guidance. Market-implied odds likely reflect this stable, near-normal outlook, with traders monitoring any last-minute shifts in the 500 mb height pattern or marine layer depth ahead of the resolution window.
