This market will resolve according to the candidate who receives the most valid votes from Ramsey County in the Democratic Primary for U.S. Senate from Minnesota, which is scheduled to be held on August 11, 2026. The named candidates will be primarily ranked by the number of valid votes received in the specified election. If two or more candidates are tied on valid votes, ties will be broken by alphabetical order of the candidates' last names. This market will resolve to the candidate that occupies the highest finishing position after applying this ranking. If the Ramsey County results of this election are not definitively known by December 31, 2026, this market will resolve to "Other." This market will resolve based on a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the government of Minnesota including the Minnesota Secretary of State and the government of Ramsey County.Peggy Flanagan holds a strong lead in the Ramsey County segment of Minnesota’s August 11 Democratic primary for the U.S. Senate seat vacated by Tina Smith, reflecting her appeal among progressive voters in the St. Paul area. As lieutenant governor, Flanagan has positioned herself against moderate Rep. Angie Craig on issues including corporate ties, immigration votes, and resistance to the Trump administration, drawing endorsements and turnout advantages in urban DFL strongholds. Craig’s campaign has emphasized electability and coalition-building across the state, yet recent debate exchanges and ad spending have highlighted the ideological split without closing the gap in Ramsey County polling and early voting trends. Other declared candidates remain marginal in this district. The two-day resolution window leaves room for last-minute shifts in turnout or late endorsements, though current trader consensus treats Flanagan’s county-level dominance as the dominant outcome.
