Recent National Weather Service point forecasts and model guidance indicate a high near 87–88°F for Denver on September 8, supported by a persistent warm air mass following early-month highs in the low 90s. Isolated thunderstorms expected during peak heating hours introduce modest uncertainty, as cloud cover and precipitation timing could cap the daily maximum in the mid-80s or allow brief warming into the upper 80s. This aligns with the market’s heaviest trading on the 86–89°F range, above the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 82°F. Updated model runs and afternoon observations over the next 48 hours will refine steering patterns and convective timing ahead of market resolution.
