For Tokyo on August 10, short-range guidance shows a daily maximum centered near 31–33 °C under increasing cloud cover and scattered showers that limit afternoon heating and surface mixing. These conditions place the highest probability on a peak of 30–32 °C, consistent with climatological August averages of 31 °C while accounting for the modest cooling effect of expected precipitation. Updated model cycles and any shifts in steering flow or moisture return ahead of the 10th remain the key variables that could nudge the distribution toward 33 °C or higher.
