Official observations from Miami International Airport recorded a low of 78°F on September 4, 2026, aligning with the market's overwhelming 98% implied probability for the 78-79°F range. This matches climatological norms, with September daily lows averaging near 77°F and recent days showing comparable values of 75–78°F under typical late-summer conditions of high humidity, light easterly winds, and scattered showers that limited overnight cooling. National Weather Service data confirm no significant frontal passage or unusual atmospheric setup occurred to drive temperatures lower. The strong trader consensus reflects verified station readings rather than forecasts, though minor discrepancies in station selection or rounding protocols could theoretically shift resolution, though such outcomes remain improbable given consistent agency reporting.
