Recent National Weather Service and model guidance for Seattle on September 5, 2026, points to overnight lows in the lower to mid-50s°F under a marine layer with light northerly winds and increasing clouds, consistent with the 54.8°F climatological average. Persistent onshore flow and modest dew points limit radiational cooling, while any evening clearing could allow brief dips toward 50-52°F in suburban areas. Traders weighting 50-55°F bins reflect these conditions and historical September variability, with model consensus showing low risk of sub-50°F readings absent stronger high pressure. Updated evening observations and next NWS forecast cycle will refine exact resolution thresholds.
