Trader consensus prices Republican victory at 89.5% in Florida's 19th Congressional District House race due to the seat's Solid Republican rating and R+14 Cook Partisan Voting Index, reflecting consistent GOP dominance in this Southwest Florida stronghold including Cape Coral and Fort Myers. Incumbent Byron Donalds' departure to pursue the 2026 gubernatorial primary—where he leads polls—opened the field to a crowded Republican primary featuring well-funded contenders like Jim Oberweis ($4.4 million raised) and Jim Schwartzel ($1.7 million), while Democrats field underfunded candidates Victor Arias, Jared Kane, and Howard Sapp with negligible resources. Late April's mid-decade redistricting further bolsters statewide GOP edges, with no polling indicating Democratic viability ahead of the August 18 primaries.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
