Recent National Weather Service and local forecasts for Denver on September 21 project a daytime high in the low-to-mid 70s under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies, with light easterly flow and minimal precipitation chances. This positions the market’s closely matched 74–75°F (38.5%) and 76–77°F (34.5%) bins as the primary focus, reflecting modest uncertainty in peak insolation and boundary-layer mixing at Denver’s 5,280-foot elevation. Post-equinox solar angles limit maximum heating relative to earlier September, while any late-day cloud buildup or slight wind shift could cap temperatures near the lower end of guidance. Traders appear to weigh short-range model consensus against historical mid-September variability, with resolution hinging on official observations once the calendar day ends.
