**Forecast consensus points to a high of 70–73°F in New York City on September 19, 2026, aligning with the market’s leading bins at 45% and 33.5% implied probability.** Official and model guidance from the National Weather Service and multiple private sources show partly cloudy skies under northeast-to-east flow following a frontal passage, with daytime highs limited by cooler maritime air and modest insolation. This setup follows warmer conditions earlier in the week (low-80s highs on the 17th–18th) and matches typical early-autumn steering patterns that suppress peak temperatures. Resolution hinges on the official Central Park or LaGuardia maximum, with little model spread expected to shift the outcome outside the 68–75°F range. Traders are pricing the narrow 70–73°F window as the most probable outcome given the stable synoptic pattern.
