Latest ensemble forecasts from the Japan Meteorological Agency and global models show Tokyo's September 18 high likely peaking at 24–25°C under persistent northerly flow, widespread cloud cover, and periods of light rain or drizzle that limit daytime heating. These conditions follow recent cool, unsettled weather and keep readings below mid-September climatological averages near 27°C. Trader consensus, reflected in the tight 39% and 31.5% implied probabilities for 24°C and 25°C, centers on this narrow range while assigning lower weight to 23°C or 26°C outcomes. Final resolution hinges on the official Tokyo station observation, with additional model guidance expected overnight.
