Current forecasts from National Weather Service models show Atlanta's overnight low on September 22 likely settling near 70°F amid a warm, humid air mass with scattered thunderstorms and light easterly winds. These conditions limit radiative cooling overnight, supporting the market's tight clustering around 68–73°F outcomes. Persistent southerly flow and above-average September temperatures have kept readings several degrees above the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 64°F. Key variables include exact timing of cloud cover and any heavier rainfall, which could nudge the minimum a degree or two lower if skies clear earlier than expected. Updated model runs and official Atlanta forecasts over the next 48 hours will provide the clearest resolution signals for traders.
