The near-final certified results from Los Angeles's June 2 primary place Spencer Pratt at roughly 25.5 percent of the vote, just above the threshold, with more than 99 percent of ballots counted and only modest remaining mail ballots expected. This outcome stems from his strong early showing among voters motivated by wildfire recovery issues and dissatisfaction with incumbent Karen Bass, which held firm despite Nithya Raman's late surge on progressive turnout. Trader consensus on the Over side reflects this locked-in margin and the low likelihood of late shifts in a nonpartisan top-two contest. The only realistic paths to under 25 percent involve major tabulation errors or a successful challenge during official certification, both viewed as remote given current tallies.
