Recent provincial polling shows the Parti Québécois holding a narrow lead at around 29% while the Coalition Avenir Québec has closed to 24%, with the Parti conservateur du Québec at 15% and the Parti libéral du Québec at 22%, leaving high undecided shares and fluid support in the Capitale-Nationale region. In the open Louis-Hébert riding, CAQ candidate Marc-Antoine Bernier, PQ candidate Chloé Fauchon, PCQ candidate Marcos Archambault, PLQ candidate Richard Bélanger, and QS candidate Anne-Sophie Roy face a fragmented contest where local projections place CAQ and PQ in the lead but within margins that reflect broader volatility. The September 17 nomination deadline and October 5 vote date keep outcomes sensitive to turnout, regional economic concerns including U.S. tariffs, and any late shifts in party momentum across Quebec City suburbs. Trader pricing remains closely bunched because no candidate has established a durable local advantage amid the multi-party competition.
