Michigan's 11th congressional district, an open seat following Democratic incumbent Haley Stevens's Senate bid, features state Sen. Jeremy Moss as the Democratic nominee after his primary victory on August 4, 2026, against Republican Mayor Ethan Baker of Troy. The district's strong Democratic lean in suburban Oakland County, including areas like Royal Oak and Pontiac, underpins trader consensus favoring the Democratic Party at 94.2%. Moss's legislative experience and fundraising edge, combined with the area's consistent support for Democratic candidates in recent cycles, have solidified this positioning ahead of the November general election. A Republican upset would require substantial shifts in voter turnout or national political conditions that have not materialized in current assessments.
