Recent polling from Reuters/Ipsos, Verasight, and RealClearPolitics aggregates shows President Trump's job approval holding near historic second-term lows around 33-40 percent approve versus 57-65 percent disapprove, with net ratings between -17 and -26. Key pressures include elevated gas prices tied to the Iran conflict's impact on global oil flows, record-low readings on inflation and foreign policy handling, and a shift among Republicans from strong to qualified approval. Traders placing 60.5 percent odds on a weekly decline via Silver Bulletin tracking appear to weigh these sustained negative indicators and softening intensity of support more heavily than any short-term stabilization signals.
