Persistent southerly flow and clear skies under high pressure are sustaining above-normal heat across North Texas, with official National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble guidance showing a September 9 high near 100°F at Dallas/Fort Worth. Recent observations confirm daily maxima of 99–101°F, consistent with the 100–101°F bin holding 61.5% market-implied odds. Minimal cloud cover and dew points in the upper 60s to low 70s support strong diurnal heating without significant mixing or moisture to cap temperatures. The 98–99°F outcome trails at 26.5% as models show little spread, while probabilities for 102°F+ remain low absent any late intensification signals. Traders are weighting the stable, consensus forecast ahead of the final model runs and surface observations that will determine settlement.
