Forecast consensus from the Pakistan Meteorological Department and global models points to a highest temperature of 32–33°C in Karachi on September 10, driven by typical late-monsoon conditions featuring southwest winds, partly cloudy skies, and moderating sea breezes from the Arabian Sea. Recent PMD outlooks indicate hot and humid weather with highs near 33°C and low precipitation chances, aligning with the market’s heaviest weighting on these outcomes. September climatology shows average daily maxima around 33°C, with minimal day-to-day variability expected absent a sudden shift in steering patterns or increased cloud cover. Traders appear to weigh the narrow range of model guidance heavily, with limited upside risk for 34°C or higher under current atmospheric stability. Updated PMD and numerical model runs tomorrow morning will provide the final inputs before market resolution.
