Recent forecast models from sources like the Norwegian Meteorological Institute and ensemble runs point to a maximum temperature of 22–23°C in Mexico City on September 10, driven by persistent cloud cover, light to moderate rain, and southwest winds that limit daytime heating. This aligns with the rainy season’s typical suppression of highs below the September average of 23°C, with afternoon showers expected to peak around midday. Market-implied odds favoring 25°C reflect trader assessment of potential model underestimation or brief clearing, while lower probabilities for 26°C or above account for the low likelihood of significant warming under these conditions. Updated model runs and official monitoring will refine the outcome ahead of resolution.
