Official National Weather Service forecasts for San Francisco on September 5 project a high near 68°F under mostly sunny skies with light westerly winds, consistent with the marine layer’s moderating influence along the coast. This aligns closely with the September climatological average high of 70°F and recent daily maxima around 69–70°F. Model consensus shows limited variability from typical onshore flow and no significant warming aloft, keeping the probability of exceeding 73°F low. Traders have concentrated implied odds on the 68–71°F bins as the most likely outcomes based on these stable conditions, with resolution depending on the official downtown maximum reported by the National Weather Service.
