Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Atlanta indicate a sunny Wednesday with a high near 91°F under easterly flow and minimal cloud cover, positioning 90-91°F as the narrow market leader over 88-89°F. Above-normal September temperatures stem from strong daytime heating and low humidity, with model consensus showing limited cooling from any late-day moisture. Differentiation between the top bins hinges on exact peak timing and any subtle steering changes that could trim the maximum by 1-2°F, while probabilities for 92°F or higher remain low absent unexpected clear-sky intensification. Updated NWS guidance and afternoon observations will refine these near-term odds.
