Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Market-implied odds cluster tightly around 38–41°C for Jeddah’s August 31 maximum, reflecting modest forecast spread in the final 48 hours.** Typical late-August conditions feature strong solar heating under mostly clear skies in the city’s hot arid climate, with historical averages near 36–38°C and occasional peaks above 40°C when winds remain light and humidity from the Red Sea stays elevated. Recent model guidance shows afternoon highs ranging 37–42°C depending on the exact timing and strength of northwesterly flows that can enhance or suppress the sea-breeze cooling effect, plus minor variations in low-level cloud cover that alter surface radiative heating. With resolution hinging on the official daily maximum recorded at local stations, traders are weighting the latest high-resolution runs and ensemble spreads that will update through the weekend.
