This market will resolve based on the highest temperature recorded in the 'Daily Observations' table on Weather Underground, not the figure displayed in the 'Day High & Low' summary section; in the event of any discrepancy between the two, the Daily Observations table shall be the primary resolution source not the Day High & Low section. This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded at the Taipei Songshan Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 17 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day for the Taipei Songshan Airport Station, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/tw/taipei/RCSS. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Forecast consensus from official and model sources points to a daily maximum of 31–32 °C in Taipei on September 17, aligning with the market’s leading outcomes at 44.5 % for 32 °C and 32.5 % for 31 °C.** Northeast monsoon flow, typical for mid-September, delivers moderate northeasterly winds of 4–7 m/s that limit daytime heating while maintaining high humidity near 60–70 % at peak temperatures. Central Weather Administration guidance and ensemble runs show partly cloudy skies with only isolated showers, insufficient to suppress the maximum below 30 °C or push it above 33 °C under current steering patterns. Historical climatology places mid-September Taipei highs near 31 °C, and no tropical disturbance or frontal passage is expected to alter the baseline within the 24-hour window. Updated model cycles and CWA briefings remain the primary near-term drivers of trader positioning.
