This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Warsaw Chopin Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 4 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=epwa If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Forecasts for Warsaw on September 4, 2026, point to a highest temperature most likely in the 20–22 °C range, aligning closely with the market’s leading outcomes (21 °C at 30 %, 22 °C at 28 %).** Multiple models and meteorological sources converge on daytime highs near 21 °C under mostly cloudy skies, with a 30–60 % chance of showers or light rain and moderate southwesterly or westerly winds. These conditions limit daytime heating by increasing cloud cover, raising humidity, and enhancing evaporative cooling from precipitation. Key scientific drivers include an unsettled synoptic pattern featuring low-pressure influence and frontal passages that advect milder, moist maritime air rather than warmer continental air masses. Surface pressure is expected to trend lower (around 1005–1013 hPa), supporting cloud formation and scattered showers that suppress the daily maximum. September climatology for Warsaw shows average highs of roughly 18–20 °C, so current guidance sits slightly above normal but remains well below any heat-advection scenarios. The narrow spread between 21 °C and 22 °C (and modest probability on 23 °C) reflects typical ensemble uncertainty in exact timing of cloud breaks or rain intensity. Minor differences in model runs—such as the degree of afternoon clearing or slight variations in wind speed—can shift the peak by 1 °C. Stronger or more persistent rain would favor the lower end of the range, while any unexpected breaks in cloud cover could push toward 23 °C. No major model shifts have occurred in the past 48 hours, keeping trader sentiment tightly clustered around these values with limited tail risk for extremes.
