Current forecast models indicate minimum temperatures in Madrid on September 2 near or slightly below the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 17.6°C, driven by clear skies, light northeasterly winds, and strong nocturnal radiative cooling under a stable high-pressure regime. Multiple sources project overnight lows of 17–22°C amid daytime highs exceeding 33°C, consistent with the market's heavy weighting toward 17°C or below at 59% implied probability. Historical September minima have occasionally dipped to 9–14°C, but recent model consensus and the absence of cloud cover or frontal systems support the cooler outcome without major shifts expected before resolution.
