This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered. In Panama City’s tropical climate during the peak rainy season, the overnight low on August 27 hinged on limited radiative cooling under persistent high humidity near 85–90% and scattered cloud cover from typical afternoon thunderstorms. Light winds and dew points around 25°C suppressed temperature drops, keeping the minimum near the long-term August average of 24°C while steering models and observations toward 25–26°C as the most likely recorded value. With leading market outcomes clustered tightly at 50–50.5% implied probability, traders appear focused on small differences in official station data versus forecast adjustments, as even modest changes in cloud timing or wind could shift the final reading by 1°C.
