**Trader sentiment for Seattle’s August 29, 2026 low temperature reflects tight clustering around the mid-50s, driven by official forecasts showing a minimum in the lower-to-mid 50s under persistent cloud cover and showers.** Multiple sources, including WeatherBug and marine forecasts, project an overnight low near 55–56°F, consistent with the long-term average of 55.7°F for the date. Light winds, high humidity, and widespread cloudiness limit radiative cooling, while marine air influence keeps temperatures from falling sharply despite the calendar date. The closely matched probabilities on 52–59°F bins capture residual uncertainty in exactly how much cooling occurs overnight. Models differ modestly on the timing and intensity of showers, which can either enhance or suppress temperature drops depending on cloud thickness and wind patterns. Clearer breaks would favor the lower bins (52–53°F or below), while sustained overcast and light precipitation support the higher side (56–57°F or 58–59°F). Historical records show lows as low as 44°F are possible but rare under atypical conditions, reinforcing why traders assign only modest odds to extremes. Upcoming hourly observations through early morning will refine the exact minimum before the market resolves.
