Recent official National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble guidance indicate a Wednesday overnight low near 57–60 °F for Seattle under partly cloudy skies and light southwest onshore flow. This range aligns closely with the historical average low of 56 °F for August 26 and reflects the transition from an upper ridge to a strengthening marine layer that limits radiational cooling. The near-even market split between the 56–57 °F and 58–59 °F bins captures uncertainty in the precise minimum, driven by variable cloud cover, dew-point depression, and the exact timing of any stratus development overnight. New model runs and NWS updates through Tuesday evening will provide the key data points for resolution.
