Kimi Antonelli's strong start to the 2026 Formula 1 season, including multiple Grand Prix victories and a clear lead in the Drivers' Championship standings, underpins the current market positioning for the title. The young Mercedes driver has benefited from the team's strong performance under the new regulations, outpacing teammate George Russell in recent races while both benefit from superior car pace and consistency. This intra-team battle keeps probabilities tight at the top, with Russell remaining a close challenger through consistent points finishes and experience. Drivers like Lando Norris, Max Verstappen, and Oscar Piastri trail due to less competitive machinery from their teams so far, though any shift in form or reliability could narrow the gap in this unpredictable early-season title fight.
