This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday) is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/AMZN/history, published under "Historical Prices." In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance.Amazon shares closed at $242.67 on July 2, 2026, after a roughly 12% pullback from June highs amid broader tech-sector pressure and investor emphasis on AWS growth. With Q2 earnings scheduled for July 30 and consensus EPS of $1.81, traders are monitoring pre-report positioning and any updates on advertising revenue, Trainium AI-chip demand, and margin trends ahead of the holiday-shortened week of July 6. Analyst price targets cluster near $306–313, reflecting expectations for continued cloud and e-commerce expansion, while the stock trades well below its May peak of $278.56 but above the February low near $196. Recent satellite-internet launch progress offers a minor positive catalyst, though near-term direction hinges on macroeconomic sentiment and any early Prime Day indicators.
