This market will resolve according to the team that wins the 2026 MLB American League West division. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the team whose listed nickname comes first alphabetically. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named the 2026 American League West division champion per the rules of the MLB (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Seattle Mariners lead trader consensus at 47.5% implied probability to win the 2026 AL West despite trailing the surprising Oakland Athletics (21-20, first place) by roughly one game, buoyed by their elite starting rotation—including Bryan Woo's nine-strikeout gem Tuesday—and offensive surges like Julio Rodríguez's seventh homer Monday and Dominic Canzone's grand slam in a win over Houston. Texas Rangers (20-22, third) sit at 29.5% on promising early form and head-to-head success against division foes, though recent losses temper momentum. Athletics' 14.2% reflects their hot start with standouts like Shea Langeliers, but preseason longshot status lingers amid depth concerns. Houston Astros (15-23) languish at 5.5% amid pitching injuries, control issues issuing MLB-most walks, and slumping stars, while Angels (16-27) fade at 0.9% with dismal record and roster woes.
