Tigers pitching faces severe headwinds from a lengthy injured list featuring ace Tarik Skubal (elbow, 15-day IL), Casey Mize, Reese Olson, and Justin Verlander, thinning rotation depth and bullpen options like Will Vest (forearm). Guardians counter with key absences in reliever Shawn Armstrong (groin, 15-day IL) and shortstop Gabriel Arias (10-day IL), but boast healthier arms and a 8-5 head-to-head edge over Detroit in 2025. Traders eye probable pitchers, lineup tweaks, and Comerica's pitcher-friendly dimensions as pivotal, with no major weather concerns forecast.
