This market will resolve according to the official UFC Flyweight division champion on December 31, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET. Only official UFC division champions will count. Interim champions will not count. If the relevant belt is vacant at this market’s check time, or there is otherwise no champion in the specified division, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC (https://www.ufc.com/athletes).Joshua Van cemented his status as flyweight champion with a gritty fifth-round TKO over Tatsuro Taira in their UFC 328 co-main event war on May 9, a Fight of the Year contender that highlighted the division's relentless pace and vulnerability to upsets. Yet trader consensus bunches the top outcomes tightly around 35-42%, reflecting deep contender talent: Manel Kape's knockout power and recent dominance over Brandon Royval and Asu Almabayev position him as frontrunner ahead of his June 20 eliminator against veteran Kyoji Horiguchi, whose grappling submission threat recently vaulted him into top-five rankings. Former champ Alexandre Pantoja eyes a rematch post-arm injury recovery, while Van's bottom game resilience tempers concerns but underscores the competitive path to year-end resolution.
