The 31-year-old right-handed shakehand attacker brings superior experience, tactical depth, and recent form against strong opposition, creating a pronounced skill and matchup gap versus the younger Shi Xunyao. Trader consensus reflects these fundamentals, with Shi's solid 2026 performances and occasional upsets insufficient to shift implied probabilities meaningfully. Even so, table tennis outcomes can hinge on late injuries, serve variations, or mental lapses that occasionally produce surprises in shorter formats.
