Any replacement of the nominee before election day will not change the resolution of the market.Incumbent Rep. Andrew Clyde commands 90.1% trader consensus in the GA-09 Republican primary set for May 19, driven by his three-term hold on the safely Republican northeast Georgia district, superior name recognition, and fundraising edge over challengers Gainesville Mayor Sam Couvillon and Hall County Commissioner Gregg Poole. Recent candidate forums, such as the April 18 Hall County Republican event, highlighted local criticisms of Clyde's Freedom Caucus alignment but failed to shift momentum, with no polls indicating a competitive race amid early voting underway. Upsets remain possible via late scandals, a high-profile endorsement flip, or strong challenger turnout in key counties like Hall and Gainesville.
