Latest National Weather Service forecasts project sunny skies and a high near 94°F for Atlanta on September 1 under a strengthening high-pressure dome, with light northeast-to-east winds and minimal cloud cover supporting efficient daytime heating. This aligns with trader consensus favoring the 94-95°F (39.5%) and 96-97°F (33.5%) bins, as models show consistent above-average warmth relative to the ~87°F climatological norm. Minor differences among outcomes hinge on subtle variations in afternoon boundary-layer mixing, dewpoint trends, or any late-day convective development that could cap the peak by 1–2°F. Updated model runs and NWS briefings over the next 48 hours will refine these probabilities ahead of market resolution.
