Recent forecast model consensus from sources including the ECMWF and Met Office indicates a daytime maximum in Milan on September 18 likely between 23–26°C, driven by moderate southerly flow and residual late-summer warmth across the Po Valley despite increasing cloud cover and scattered showers. These conditions position the 25°C-or-higher outcome as the market leader at 49.5% implied probability, followed by 23°C and 24°C, while cooler thresholds remain low-probability given observed trends and limited cooling from precipitation. Updated model runs in the past 48 hours have reinforced this range, with traders weighting official guidance on maximum temperature timing ahead of resolution.
