**Forecast models from the National Weather Service and NOAA currently indicate an overnight low near 71°F for Atlanta on August 29, driven primarily by persistent high humidity, light easterly winds, and residual cloud cover from daytime convection that limits radiative cooling.** Afternoon showers or thunderstorms may further reduce temperature drops by maintaining elevated dew points around 70°F and suppressing clear-sky heat loss. Historical climatology shows typical late-August lows near 70°F, but recent model runs reflect modest spread from variable precipitation timing and coverage. Trader consensus across the tightly bunched 68–75°F bins aligns with this range of official guidance, underscoring genuine forecast uncertainty until final observational data resolve the minimum.
